Thinking of Tracking the Car Next Weekend

for many years I have driven with r compound tires including NT01 on the street all summer including rain and in the rain on track. I have never heard of someone going off the road because of r compounds, they have lots of grip in the rain and don't wear much when going straight on the highway.
also the coilovers will still be very comfortable on the street.
just my 2 cents and I have been tracking for 15 years and PCA National instructor.

Semis are fine when warm as a tyre and there is a little water. In heavy rain with cold rubber as it is when commuting, it simply doesn't have the water channels to be safe.
