Default head gasket

My head gasket just started leaking oil. I am not a do it yourselfer for this type of thing. First shop I contacted said they need to remove timing chain to do gaskets, sound right?
Any idea on cost of gasket job?

You will have to remove the timing components when the head is removed. If you are due for a belt job soon it would be a good time to do everything at once.

Not sure on the cost of the job though..Just make sure who ever is doing it is familiar with the 968

A few things to consider while in there. Depending on miles:
1) waterpump
2) belts
3) cam hain tensioner pads and chain
4) head refresh (worn valve guides)
