Another 968 hits the auction
Last year we saw a nice black 92 cab bring $25K at the Mecum Kissimmee auction. I received my flier for the upcoming Houston auction and noticed yet another 968 cab. It will be interesting to see how this one does. It looks very clean and attractive but it is a tiptronic which will hurt it. It is rare. Looks to be cobalt (1 of 27 cabs) paired with a very rare light grey/cobalt interior (1 of only 3).

Were you watching? The last time a 968 crossed the auction block at Kissimmee in 2012 it did so during a commercial break (and went for $25K). Well, today the cobalt blue/tip 968 was well featured and my DVR caught it. The car only sold for $7,500. It looked clean so someone got a deal. They spoke of how the 968 is a future collectible. I agree.
