Hi All,

I have a RSBARN cat-back on my 968, it has been great for the last 6 years, although the muffler is due for replacement, any experience with what muffler i shoul replace it with?

RSBARN catback came with oneof these( but cant remeber which): http://www.dynomax.com/catalogsearch...er=173&q=turbo

When I had to replace mine I used one of these, which I think is the same one Pete uses:

SOME of these parts have lifetime warrantees with RSBarn. I would check in with Pete, just in case...

Well, the reason I posted is I had a muffler failure on my RSBarn system perhaps 2 years ago: I called Pete to ask about buying a replacement and he sent one out free under warranty.

Well its no t so much bout warranty, clearly im beyond that, Pete was always amazing, n the catback its 6 years old.
I want to try something diferent with the muffler, since it has a spring, maybe will make the car quieter around town and still remain loud when needed.

Anyone had any experience with this type of muffler?

cheers

Again, the mufflers have a lifetime warranty: I think it's from the muffler mfr (Walker, I think). I found the stock RSBarn catback system a bit loud and installed a resonator Pete recommended, which tamed the buzz considerably.
