Default 968 CS steering wheel woes

Well, my shop said that my steering wheel wasn't a bolt on affair. I picked it up eBay, the ad said that it came with everything it needed for install. I assumed I bought a 968 CS wheel, can someone decipher from the photos? Thanks,

It won't be a bolt-on affair for your car. You have to remove the airbag clock spring, add a horn wipe and rewire the horn. It's fairly straightforward and has been well documented here.

Another issue you could run into is the hub that's installed on your wheel. It has to be for the 944/968. I can't tell for certain from your pictures, but the splined hole looks too big to be for your application. It looks like it may be a 928 hub. How was it described in the eBay auction?

What did the shop tell you?

You might have to adjust the height on the control column. Looks right from the pics. As suggested, you need to remove the airbag clocking spring etc to fit it.

I found instructions for air bag delete mod here. I may also need to buy part 928-652-104-00 which I'll get to the bottom of. Much appreciated guys thanks!
