I have seen many post but no answers on how to disable the factory alarm module. On my 1994 968 race car my alarm sometimes goes off and car won't start. I can turn the alarm off by locking/unlocking the drivers door. But I am afraid if there is a malfunction in the system, at some point this won't work. Clarks garage has a DIY to disarm 944 alarms up to alarm module part #92863710405. My 968 has alarm module #92861826001, now 96861826003. So I am not sure if jumping pins 1 and 3 will work on my alarm module.
Has anyone done this?
