#617 here; I'm sure Jeff has some scoop on it if anyone does. What year was yours?

It was a '95. A VIN check indicates it's currently owned in Titusville, NJ. Which is kinda cool, given that its first owner was in Cherry Hill, NJ. Circle of life, right?

Funny story... When I was searching for my car, that car, I spoke to the owner who told me all about it. When he mentioned it was yellow, I was like "thanks but no thanks." When he asked why, I confessed that I didn't want to be that a-hole in the yellow Porsche. He said to me, look, come on down and just see it. If you don't love it, I'll give you gas money and you can go your way having test-driven a nice car for reference. Needless to say, I took him up on his offer and bought it on sight.

When it came time for me to sell, I made a little promise to myself that my next Porsche would be Speed Yellow with a black rag. And wouldn't you know...? I'm now in a 911 Turbo Cab, Speed Yellow & Black. Promise kept.

I really do hope to connect with whomever it is that owns my old Porsche. May sound silly, but these cars can be so much more than property. They're relationships.

Default A few pics...

Dear current owner: Here's are some pics of your car with 4939 miles on it.

And one of my current car, inspired by that 968 from almost 14 years ago.

Enjoy!

They're normal Strosek wheels made by OZ. Centers are just painted different color than usual grey or polished aluminun. They were available in 17" and 18". They are sometimes available in German eBay but aren't cheap.

I hate yellow cars, but that yellow/black 968 Cab looks great!

Thanks to ChatyJones for letting me know this discussion was happening! I'm the proud owner of car #10 - Vendetta NY - let's try and chat, I'd love to know more about the car - I know it's been hit and has been painted, the particulars would be great to know. Thanks!

I was gonna say Steve is your guy but I see you have already connected. Great photos of the car when new. A rare machine and it is great that Steve has it. He knows what it is. Be sure to check out the thread where we had 3 speed yellow 968s together in NH a few weeks back.
Jeff
