i've been looking recently for 944's, but 968's pop into my head on occasion. i was wondering, since 951's exist, i know they made all of 20 968 turbos(s and rs combined), how would i go about making a 968 turbo.

i'd prefer to still use a 3.0l, i know the factory one's were sohc, and the 968 is dohc, would the 951 head work? i assume it'd be a custom engine tuning set up. but i don't even know where to start with building the car. can i get low compression pistons? would boring/stroking a 951 engine be easier?

i'm not looking for huge power, maybe 325-375 crank, i figure it's not a heavy car.

Have $25k ready if want to do something like that. And that would be just engine mods.
I would suggest visting 944 turbo boards. Plenty of good info.
