Default Need a Hall sensor harness plug

Does anyone have a good Hall sensor harness plug? Mine was replaced by a non-standard connector by the previous owner, and I have a new sensor coming that obviously isn't compatible with it.

If I can't find one, I'll have to hard wire it.

These plugs are available via Porsche. Its a standard 2 pin plug. You can rmove old pins and install them into new plug.

There were three pins in the plug I saw (two wires, plus ground). Is that not right? Maybe it was wired wrong?

You are correct, it is 3 pins probably. In either case, you can buy these connectors from Porsche. That would your best bet.

Any chance that it's the same connector as the DME temperature sensor? If so, I'm already in luck, as I have a spare connector in my tool box.

Charlie, it's been a while since I replaced my hall sender, but I believe it was just a 3-pole AMP connector, right? Here's a couple links for AMP connectors.

Actually, they sell them on paragon, too:
