Default 968 Fuel Rail thread info

I'm in the process of swapping a 968 engine into my 944. I'm about to start working on the fuel lines. I know the 944 lines won't work, but I was wondering if the thread size (pitch?, etc) are the same on the return and feed lines for the 968 and the 944. If not what size are the 968? Thanks.

You now have found a use for a Thread Gage to add to tool collection. Every mechanic should have one in their tool box.

Cheers,

I just went out and disconnected one of the lines on my 968. The male connection is 16mm x 1.5mm thread pitch.

+2 on the metric thread pitch gage. All of mine are Starrett brand.

I hope this helps, good luck with your swap.
