968 HMR-Turbo featured in "9 Magazine"
Greetings all.
Porsche 968 HMR-Turbo featured in the current issue of 9 Magazine
The Porsche 968 Turbo was "built" by Jason Lee at Heritage Motorcar Research in St. Petersburg, FL. I merely own and drive the 968 Turbo. It is awsome.

Well I considered subscribing just to read about this car but based on your comments I won't do it. Can anyone scan it perhaps?

Anyone up to date with the Fair Use exception to copyright?
If my blurry recollection is correct, if not more than 10% of the whole content it should be O.K.

Vincent Catena is the editor of 9 Magazine. I have worked with many editors. Vincent impressed me with his editorial capability and professionalism. I have received very positive feedback about both the article and my 968 HMR-Turbo.
If any have issues with "9 Magazine" legacy management, ownership, subscriptions, I suggest contacting Vincent Catena using information provided on the web page at www.9magazine.com
I have started another thread here to provide an opportunity for any who want to comment on "9 Magazine" and/or "9 Magazine" management.
Cheers

Hello All!
My name is Vincent Catena and my company is the new publisher of 9 Magazine. We have been publishing the "New" 9 Magazine for just about two years now.
I thought this would be a good opportunity to introduce myself and explain the situation since a few have had a negative experience in the past.
First off, things are now very different. The problems addressed in this thread were a result of the poor management by the previous publishing company and have since been rectified. Once a digital only magazine by e-mail, 9 is now a printed book delivered by the postal service directly to subscribers. It is not available on the newstand (as of yet) but is available for the iPad and Android Tablets through iTunes and the Android Market.
We completely changed the format of the magazine and the website www.9magazine.com to include the latest Porsche news, product information and featured content when we took over the magazine.
We are committed to providing only the best customer service and reader experience in the industry and we want to make things right for those who were affected in the past... If you Damian in NJ and Joel8005 would e-mail me your postal address (editor@9magazine.com) I will make sure to provide you both with a FREE one-year subscription to the magazine. (6 issues)
We hope that you will check out our new web site, facebook fan page and consider subscribing to the "New" 9 Magazine in the future.
Best,
Vincent Catena

Hi Vincent
Thanks for your reply. Always nice to get info straight from the source.
Secondly, is your publication available in an Online format or for O.S. subscribers?
regards

Downloaded the magazine and love the articles. Really want a RWB car now.
As for the 968 article I had a few questions. Is HMR the same shop that wad owned by Matt Drendel? If so, my condolences as he seemed to be a great guy with an awesome Porsche collection.
Why did they use a 1.15 correction factor? Was that to estimate flywheel HP? How much boost pressure were you at? On my mid map I dyno'd 418 RWHP at 15 lbs of boost which is roughly 490 with a 15 percent correction. This was also on pump gas. I still have not run the top map so I don't know what the highest setting will do. I am told it needs race fuel for that map so I have been reluctant to turn the switch without checking on a dyno first. Do our cars really have 15 percent drivetrain loss?
I really like how clean and professional the car looks. Pretty brave saying it's the fastest 968 Turbo though. There are some pretty fast ones out there.
