Rare find in the sense that it's a one owner car bougth in May 1992 at AUTO STRASSE in Montreal.Exterior & interior in perfect shape, mileage 149,500 KLMS asking $12,900.00 CDN.Very rare that you find an all original car that the same owner kept for twenty years .

Intriguing 968 vinyl wrapped in orange with 944 turbo drivetrain and cool front spoiler pictured in a shop with a few interesting racing shells near Quebec city. Anyone knows about this car? I can't post pics, it's Kijiji ad : 436912834

The shop is Rivard Compétition, I suppose they put the car together. http://www.rivardcompetition.com/fr/index.php

^^ Seen this one before but didn't bother adding it up to this tread, there is to much unknown about this car.#1 Mileage is 85,000klm but the question is,is it on the swap motor or the car itself.#2 Vinyl wrap what is it really hiding??? The plus is that is has a new clutch & starter, but I'll be very carefull with such a swap 968 to 951.Mind you it could had been done properly but also could be a butchered job which will turn into a mechanical nigthmare & money pit. Also what raise a red flag is the low price at $8,500.00 CDN for such a conversion which in the US will go for maybe $15k +.There is one thing I notice about Rivard Competition they seem to have a lot of Porsche project going one so they migth know what they're doing but personnaly I would be very very careful about buying such a car.

Wow, if I had the cash right now I'd give it a whirl. With a 951 drive train already in, it'd make the perfect turbo conversion car...just do the body work.

As a side note, thanks for this thread. If I can ever quit paying Immigration Canada and the NCA (lawyer accrediting agency) I might have the cash to jump on one of these. Sooooo want a 968!

I assumed by your avatar that you already had one. Shame on me for not noticing it's a 944 Turbo.

You'll have to come and try mine out when I have it at Mosport in May. (If I have it reassembled by then!) They're not as exhilarating as a turbo, but you do find yourself going very quickly, very easily.

I guess it's the light, it seems too dark for Cobalt to my eyes. Whatever it is, I love it!

Funny to see it top down in the snow; especially after shoveling two feet of it off the Bimmer today.
