Default Hall sensor replaced with pics

Just bought a new one of these - the factory equivalent from Pelican for about $130. I installed it this evening - just had to pull the cam cover. Pretty straight forward. I had to run out to the grocery but it seems to have improved acceleration. I had noticed some bogging down right off the line and didn't experience that after the replacement. Also - just for the heck of it I unplugged the sensor and tried starting the car - it started right up.

Man - put some more miles on the car today and the acceleration has definetly improved - much smoother. Still hunts a little at idle I need to check for vacuum leaks.

Just ordered a new one myself.... Mine wasn't as bad as the one on yours Josh, but the connector was cracking and I don't want to have to go back in and do it later.

That heater core is a disaster waiting to happen.
