Question Can anybody help with this 968 on eBay please

Hi Gents

My business partner Beni is in the market for a LHD 968 Cab and has made an offer on this car: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...AQ:MOTORS:1123

He/we would be very grateful for any further details anybody knows about this car or if anybody could view it for him if it is local to you would be a massive plus . The car would be purchased and exported to Switzerland sight unseen so any help would be very much appreciated.

If anybody knows of a better 968 Cab then please let us know as cash is ready – Riviera or White are the preference but all considered.

Best regards,
Mark

I have not seen the car but I can give you the production details. As for options, it has partial leather in classic gray (code TT), painted crest center caps (code XD4), and a full power driver's seat (code 437) along with the standard North American features. The car is actually rare for North American 968 cabs. Although A1 Black is the second most popular color with 432 produced this was is 1 of only 3 produced in A1 black exterior combined with a classic gray interior and, what makes it rare, a V1 classic gray top.

Many thanks Jeff and I will forward your info onto Beni

I see some dis taste full modes myself to the interior and trunk but that can easy be put right. Unfortunately it does look as if the original V1 classic grey top has been replaced with a new black version but again that can be corrected.

What do we think a true realistic value of this car is ... Beni has made a realistic offer which is being considered but we would be very pleased to know for the US market?

Many thanks,
Mark

^ Mate its always sods law LOL do you fancy a trip back up on us

Only joking dude ... Beni has offered 17k USD sight unseen - do we think this 968 is worth that?

The reason for his interest is mainly because he unfortunately has had somebody run into the back of his red 951 rendering his car a loss but the insurance have offered to pay 15k CHF about 15k USD to repair. He will take the money but use his car for parts for his other many projects so will most likely turbo convert the new 968.

Best regards,
Mark

I'd make sure to ask if the 17" Cup 1's are genuine or replica, the seller says he 'added' them.

Thanks Damian will do

Beni has a lead on a fellow RL member’s car also now but will not mention names. Either which way he will be purchasing a cab ASAP so expect some new cab products very soon. And below just because every thread needs some pics ... so a few new products in the development stages

One day we might just finish the 968 project car

Best regards,
Mark

Oh my, those CF door panels are sweet! I love the porsche inscription, like the early 944s! When do you think they'll be ready for sale?
