Summer yellow paint code?
Look like BMW Kalahari yellow #384,since your asking for the code I gather you don't have it either on the stickers in the spare compartement or in the owner manual. So are you sure your car is summer yellow ? Was car the repainted or did it came from the factory in that color.I did a little research on both Porshe & BMW (summer yellow) and the color is not even close to your car.GL

Glade for you ,now you can buy your touch-up paint, but don't be surprise if it doesn't match your color exactly they never do because there is always a fade in the original paint after all them years. If your trying to cover chips don't try to hide it in one shot ,put a little dabe of paint first them keep on going until you think it's a match.
There is a CTS coupe here in the US that is supposed to be summer yellow but I don't recall it looking like that. You can find the paint code in three places, the vehicle information stickers, 1 glued to the left trunk florr under the carpet or on the taillight panel, on page two of the maintenance manual, and also on a small silver sticker next to the fuse box.

For some reason there are two different style paint codes for practically all colors. 10W and B1 are same limonen-gelb. Three letter codes are used in option sticker. Usually 10W and other three letter codes are preceeded by L meaning german word for paintwork, lackierung. Sometimes there are also two or more versions for these L paint codes. Some versions are for old style bad for environment version and others for newer water based paint. There were also some changes over the years where code changed while paint remained practically the same and there were changes done to paint name while it remained same. For example indian and guards red are same color.
