Michelle, it seems like you've been looking at 968's for years so when you are finally going to pull the trigger? I've had 4 968's in that time...but I still look...because I'm insane!

I will pull the trigger at some point. I'm thinking about selling Anita and getting a 968, but I haven't found one (yet) that I want more than the 951. If this turbo had been another color, well....

It's only a 2.5L 951 engine, not a 3.0L turbo conversion. Not compelling value at all for the asking price, IMHO. A properly done 3.0L turbo conversion would be an entirely different proposition, however...

I think I know the backstory on this car. I spoke with the owner/builder who has done a number of 944/968 projects locally. I think it is ProForce out of Fort Lauderdale. Nice guy and very knowledgable. I spoke with him about building the car for me before I decided to buy a 968 instead of building a hybrid. I decided to buy a 968 instead and do the work myself (mostly). Also, I almost bought one of his 944 projects, but got outbid. The car started out as a white/cashmere 968. He sold the 3.0 liter driveline to a buyer in Singapore. He tried to sell the roller, but could not find a buyer after listing it for some time locally. I believe that the car is well presented as advertised. I agree that it is asking a lot for a 2.5L 951 engine and driveline. It will make a good ride for someone.
