My 968 has a first name it's bad *** not o s c a r and yea it's of the very large HP - GT body - 335/35/17 rear tires and if you want to go that direction buy my car 37K. Not a street 968 but 140 k invested it's less money to go this way

Chris, I knew it, the 3.0L 16v was a monster waiting to be given a chance to "breathe". That's amazing.

Both the 951 and 968 can accept any 4 cylinder porsche engine so one can choose any engine layout they want (8v/16v, 2.5L/3.0L, turbo/NA, etc) and then separately choose which body they think looks better. If one likes the 951 body more (for looks, available kits, whatever), then they don't have to feel limited to 2.5L 8v turbo.

Oh, and texas 951, if you ever get unbanned, I hope you don't get a 968 because you don't belong here; you're an ***. Most 968 owners are like Ernie - respectful and polite. I really hope you can be nicer in the future because you're going to need help building a 500+ hp engine, and all of us like to help, that's why this forum exists.

I just did all of this. You can remove and replace without special tools but would recommend some cam saddles.
You will definitely have to reset cam timing when your done.

These wooden things. They hold the cams down while you bolt or unbolt the cam saddles. Keeps the cams from bending. Not necessary from what I've read but I felt more comfortable using them.

Great..... So these are just flat wooden pieces... No curvatures/ grooves need to make

No just simple rectangular blocks.
