Default How to bypass factory alarm

I let my car sit for about a month, battery died and now I have no spark, and I've narrowed it down to the DME which I have a hard time believing that it went bad just sitting there, or that it has something to do with the alarm.

I've looked around and can't find any 968 specific instructions on how to bypass the alarm, what pins to jump ect.. So does anyone know what to do, or where I can find this info?
TIA

What year is your car? If its the '90 listed in your sig, it will make things pretty interesting as I believe you will have to cross over the factory alarm wiring from the '90 S2 to the relay/DME wiring from whichever year 968 harness you are running, if I am recalling this properly. You'll need both sets of wiring diagrams from the FSM's. Failure to get it right could easily result in a burned wiring harness.

Fair disclosure: I have never done this on a 968 but I have done it a number of times on 944's and 951's. You have to make sure the info is specific to teh car you are working on, as there are several different configs for this bypass.

The car is using all 968 wire harness with 968 alarm control unit, witch is the same unit from a 928, has a 928 part # on it. The 944 and 911 use the same control unit. The two control units look the same but are wired different, and have different part numbers. I know how to bypass the 944 unit but this does not help. Any info would help. Thanks.

I hate to say it, but unless I could actually see it, I think I would be extremely reluctant to give you advice on this one. It would be way too easy to burn your car up (or at least burn up the under dash wiring) with the wrong advice.

Do you have the wiring diagrams for a factory 968?

It's identical to a 968, if anyone has any advice regarding which wires to jump to bypass the alarm it would be appreciated.
