my seats are called "Demons." an offshoot of the Milanos with the same shape but, thicker leather option. the Demons also came with colors. (black, charcoal, red, blue or yellow) on charcoal. unfortunately they're pricey.... about $4,700 for the seats and sliders. quite comfortable on long trips, though.

It was myself who measured the shelf from my CS. Looks quite straightforward to replicate (mine os original).
I had to cut a small notch from each front corner to get around the cage. The shelf is removable. It bolts through two metal brackets into the underneath of the shelf. I put captive bolts in the shelf and use butterfly nuts to hold it in place. The metal brackets attach to the outer seatbelt holes. The shelf is easily removed when the seats are pushed forward - i take it out + the rear carpet when i am track.

Paul and frogisland,
Thanks for the information. I would probable go with the shelf myself. I like the fact that it goes across the back evenly. Just looks cleaner to the eye.

Digging up an old thread but wanted to see the reviews of the D9 piece. I had thought about picking up a 968 cab cubby but decided to go with the minimalist approach.
So, I ordered one. I'll post a fitment update with pics when it comes in and I install it. For those of you who have it is it a simple press fit?

Drifting
I just ordered one of these, so I assume I will see it in September.
What did people do with the inside seat belt holes on the transaxle tunnel, can the bolts be left in, or do you plug them with something else?
I ask because it appears to be a hole to the outside.
I also have a belt bar back there, so not sure if I can slide it in from the rear, since I have fixed back seats

the seat delete mold is nice. the carpet... not so much.
what is required is making the felt more rigid with like, a spray silicone.
it really blows that there's no high quality seat delete carpet/moldings.
there's no carpet replacement for the 968.
there's no high-displacement inline-5 **** crate motors.
there's no 'lotsa crap' for these cars.
