HELP! Need metal timing belt/cam sprocket cover.

Travis - I'm sorry if my posting was misunderstood. I was referencing the fact that the rear cover no longer cost 700 + dollars. I wasn't implying that yours were overpriced.
I think your covers are a work of art, but as a purist I'm going to want a cover that doesn't appear to have been intended for a 944 and that's what your inspection hole location suggest.
My 968s are 21 and 22 years old and need covers only because someone who doesn't know how to torque bolts into magnesium previously installed a timing belt. I have talked to people who's covers have disintegrated, but neither of mine have. For that reason I'll risk 2 more from Germany lasting another 20 years. And there are 23 there at this time.
Again, your workmanship is amazing. I wish they were a carbon copy of the originals.

I actually just bought a new cover for my car as a spare within the last year. I had to wait a few months at the time because there were none left when I placed the order. I now have a brand new one which appears to be made of aluminum, I will see if I have any pictures.
Regardless, the rennbay unit is a nice alternative although I do wish it had the rectangular inspection hole.

Thanx Colin - It was rumored that Porsche was now having them produced in aluminum. Looking at yours it appears that is the case. This certainly takes the "falling apart" risk out of the picture.
Strange that all the stock is in Germany. I suppose US sales have not been consistent enough to justify keeping stock stateside. But you wouldn't think it would hurt to have 1 or 2 on this side of the pond........
