Aventurine (spelled with an "R") is a type of gemstone, green in color. Also have seen it spelled aventuine.
(Google... is there anything it can't do?)

Well they sure don't spell it that way in the 968 color code " 39R Aventurine Green Metallic -94".

Ha, I can't type and forgot the "r" but I used to add the "d" just like you did.

I always thought it was "adventure - ine" as is the case with any 968 drive, an adventure.

"Aventurine is a form of quartz, characterised by its translucency and the presence of platy mineral inclusions that give a shimmering or glistening effect termed aventurescence.

The most common colour of aventurine is green... Chrome-bearing fuchsite (a variety of muscovite mica) is the classic inclusion, and gives a silvery green or blue sheen."

I think we've been here before.
