I had a loose rear view mirror. The metal bracket was glued hard to the glass, but the mirror itself was loose when I stuck it on the bracket. If this is what you have, then I suggest you put some silicon in there, it will hold things tighter but not too tight. It worked well for me.
On the wheels, yeah I understand now. It's been a while since I ran with 18" wheels, and they are very harsh. If you don't drive the car that often, maybe it's OK to have a harsh ride for awesome looks. But if you drive the car kinda often, then 17" wheels are much more fun.
There are 17" wheels out there that look great in black, like sport classic 1s or CCWs. They are more expensive than cup2s though.
Whatever you do, post pics!

JDS and Arash, you are making it hard for me to decide on the wheels, i also love the LM's but the ride is so bad...but lets see, the cups are arriving in a couple of months and Im sure owner is willing to let me try first. If ride improves a lot then I might go for it but if not much then the 18s stays.
I think you should drive my car for a week, then suddenly you'll get back in your car and it will feel like floating on a cloud

@austin--the m3 is not a convertible
@arash--A great wheel in black would be fuchs in 17s but that might be hard to find.
@odurandina--yup have spacers in the back.
JDS, considering my other cars...I dont want to have another hard ride being here in a third world country makes sourcing a bnew rear view mirror hard, add to that having the only 968 cab in the country

I can't imagine what that must be like, dealing with that. My ignition switch is getting flaky...turns out there are three in North America. About to be two. Probably no spares for ANYTHING in the Philippines...

Here's a source for custom 17" fuchs. About $800 each, plus shipping... I don't know if those replica brands make a 17" version.

Jds, it's not impossible, I can always get from the states but it's just frustrating that the simplest thing gets complicated.
Arash, thanks for the link...ignorance is bliss, now I'm not ignorant,,,and want it

Nice! That right side rocker panel (the little front piece) looks a little bent, maybe the metal mount tabs are bent and can be rebent into shape? The splitter looks sweet though!
