Default 968 Front Spring Rates

Just curious. Does anyone know the height and spring rate difference between a 968 coupe front spring and a cabriolet front spring?
Also, how would a S2 spring compare to a coupe and a cabriolet spring. I don't have PET at work.
Thanks.

Thanks guys. It helps a lot. So in essence, a coupe spring would be a good start to see where the ride heights get to, in comparison to the CS springs.
I am sure the added 6mm on the Cabriolet is to compensate for the additional weight.
Regards.

CS Coupe is almost as low up front as a Coupe with H&R springs. interesting. H&R springs lower the Coupe about 26MM (cab 34MM) down to 322MM.

H&R springs do higher spring rate though. They are quite a bit stiffer than the factory springs. I tried H&R, but found the height to be too low for the splitter. Fortunately, the splitter can take a beating, since is factory unit.

I'm very pleased with the progressive H&R springs on my car.

I also went through two fiberglass AIR splitters. Both cracked, i replaced the last one with a Carbon Fiber AIR splitter which has been on the for approx. 2 years now. It has held up longer then both Fiberglass units combined, as CF is much stronger. I'm very pleased with it. However, I did sand down the edges and spray it with another coat of clear after a year of use.

I have a cab, the 1st step was the hyperco springs (310mm), with stock struts, that made the car lower but harder with a nice stance then after i rebuild the struts with koni inserts i installed the cs springs that made the car even lower. but nicer drive.
hope it helps

My current setup is rebuilt M474's in front with CS Springs. The ride and stance are great, except that the splitter scrubs against dips and bumps. I am trying to rectify that. Except for the rubbing, I absolutely love the setup.

How about some 3mm or 6mm spring pads?

Never considered that. I think I need about 1/5 an inch more ride height and I would be good. I like the current setup except it drops the car 1/2 inch too low.

Since Wilma has no front springs, I started to look for relevant information. As usual, Raj has blazed the trail for others.

You can get them via Sunset Porsche. Typically not an item that is common enough to find in used market.
