It's a GTO car, not GTP. Do you know where the photo comes from? Looks like the #3 TRS in South Africa, so it may be a sort of HSR race.

And the 1994 LeMans race would make the Nissan a GTS in that year. Sorry for the error.
Referencing the 968turbo.homestead.com site reminds us that the Number one car was the only 968 turbo to compete at LeMans.

Thats Seikel Motorsport 968 Turbo RS.
They had 2 968's in the pits, but never raced the back-up car @ lemans.
1992 968 Turbo RS & 1993 968 Turbo S converted to RS spec. Both were in yellow livery for lemans with yellow foglights.

Very cool photo, I love it! I love having that racing heritage, how many people can say their car ran Le Mans?

One raced, and the other didn't.

That was already stated in my post, so there is no need for clarification.

Cool photo, looks like the PS side mirror is folded in?

likely made light contact with another car at some point and the mirror folded in.

Odd how that car evolved from a perfectly normal street 968 to a complete race car running Le Mans, and in the process, retained a few bits that would never have gone into a bespoke race car, like folding mirrors.
