clutch is going to be cheaper than the 951 on labor. which bellypan is it missing? batwing is a couple hundred bucks from sunset, not sure about the one behind the oil pan. glove box is a common thing, paragon has them pretty cheap. fog lights were over $300 on paragon last time i checked. turn signal issue is fairly cheap and easy, my dad replaced mine and he's never worked on/owned one of these cars.
oil pan gasket is going to run you a bit if you have a shop do it because of everything they need to remove to get at it. i would get quotes on all of these repairs and share them with the seller when you negotiate.
sometimes it's better to buy cars that need a few things, as long as the price is right, because then you know what was done, by whom, at what mileage, and when.

My air bag light is on as well. Not something I was too worried about but the real worry with this car would be the vibration in the driveline. I love the white rims on this car, probably the only color that I like matched colors. Black rims on a Black car is the worst IMO. Someone mentioned that the air bag light is a easy fix. I have searched this topic and did not find a way to shut it off other than tearing the dash apart and yanking the light wire.

Unlike the 944s, I think most 968 owners aren't willing to buy a "project" car and try to resurrect it. Simply put, I expect a 968 to be in better condition and better maintained than a 944. For the base cost of entry when these cars were new, you would expect some serious maintenance to be done on them. Our 968 had half of it's purchase cost spent on maintenance in the first 7 years.

At this point I can wait. I'm willing to do a little wrenching, but not major stuff. I need the car to be reasonably sound. Driveline vibrations are seldom simple.

Ask the sales person about the people who brought in the own mechanic and did a ppi and their shop! See how they respond to that question! Not saying the car is not worth $8K but you had better know what you are getting into!

The salespeople said the last interested party was looking for a tip. But I take anything people who want my money say with a a grain of salt.
