Mine are the sport 17"(7" & 8.5") wheels off a Boxter. BTW I paid $450 as well.

These used to be my favorite wheels, and for a time I was searching high and low for a set. Congrats and be sure to post pics when you get them fitted.
SCIIs would look sick with the horizon blue.

it's hard to tell from the pics, but the 951 wheels have white centers.

Spacers should not be needed with those wheels on a 968. The recommended tire sizes are 225/40 for the front and 255/35 for the rear.

The tire sizes that I put on the rims are
Rear 265/35/18
Front 225/40/18
So I should be okay on the tire size.

I tried fitting the front rim and it looks about a 1/4" off due to the center of the hub not allowing the rim to seat all the way.
It easily clears the brake caliper.

I have not tried the back yet but will this afternoon.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Tim

i love these wheels and searched high and low for about a year before settling on my cup 1's. i was looking for regular sport classics though without the beaded edge.

The rear rims fit perfectly, If anyone knows what size spacer to utilize for the front would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tim

Autozone sells the 1/4" spacers which worked great. Now off to the paint / body shop. Will post pictures when I get it returns home. Wheels look great.
