968 Fender Flairs
Has anybody seen the fender flairs that are mentioned on GT racing's website?
Do you need to get different rocker panels, too?
I'd like to consider adding them to my car, so I can get a little wider wheels for next racing season.

I'm not sure who they copied them from.
The ones I have for my project are from Kelly-Moss (someone made the flares for them) and they replace the rocker panel trim in front of the door and behind it. You cut the long piece and use it together with the flares.

Yes, the flares I'm referring to are the ones KMR put on the yellow car in the article. At the time Jeff Stone had told me the look on the 993 RSR had been so well accepted they decided to use that style.

Jason,
I can't speak to the 968 flares, but I did install the 924 GT flares on my frankencar. In general they work very well although there was a bit of a mismatch at the rocker panel. I dealt with this using fiberglass resin and it looks ok. I would be hesitant to put it on a nice street car but they look great on my track car.
Mine are held on using only a 3m adhesive that Hank suggested. The product is amazing. In the first pic, you can see screws in the flare, these were used to hold the flare to the body while the adhesive dried. The next day, I pulled the screws and filled with fiberglass resin.
