I was willing to accept your word and that it was just a trick of the light or something else. However, I'm not willing to be made to look like I'm talking out my ***.
As stated I will post some proper pictures with it all screwed together correctly shortly.
Best regards,
Mark

Very nice to see some updates!

Thanks Mark for the clarification and I accept your apology.
I do think it would have been better to explain that in your original response to me and then show pictures of how it fits, rather than modify the pictures. Modifying the pics could be misconstrued as hiding something (as I obviously did). Sorry to make much ado about nothing!

Lets get some updates I am in to buy a pair of the 993 conversion lights/fenders and maybe even bumper. Group buy anyone?
What is the weight difference to stock. If I want to add widebody panels on the 968 will this Mod create any problems?

I would like to see a picture of this setup on a 968 with the projectors
Mate - rationally and logically speaking you are 100% correct but the reality is that some of us fellow RL 944 owners have so much $$$$$$$$ already invested in their 944’s which makes purchasing a 968 and swapping everything over simply out of the financial question plus some simply like the challenge of complete uniqueness
Yes I see your logic and that’s exactly what we have developed to answer you QU’s
Firstly below is a pics (sort of) of the back of the units during development (I’ll post you some better ones tomorrow) - please remember that this pic is far from the finished item again which I'll post tomorrow once I've received from our factory over in Switzerland:
The light units we are using are 55 watt H3 projectors with an incredible light output for their 2” lens size made by a partner company called SUNWAY:
If you just want the FRP light unit moulds then we can do you a set for 140 Euros plus 30 Euros shipping to the US.
P.S. You can fit a HID kit directly to the light units I've chosen we develop this kit with
Our 968 Brake Ducts lights stock:
Our 968 Brake Ducts lights with HID:
^The above is with the spots only i.e. no headlights switched on
Cheers,
Mark

1. there are so few people interesting in doing mods on the front half of these low production number cars,
the result is predictable....
you can be sure the focus is back to working mods for the bugwagons.
or just puttin' in overtime at the coal mines.
2. Josh,
are you going up to the 944 party ?

apparently, they pissed off somebody. my guess, the endless shipping times. someone on the 911 board probably got all in a huff and complained to either John or Rob R...... and they'd had about enough and decided it just wasn't worth it to keep them on. shame too, because most if not nearly all of their products are very high quality. as much of a pain-in-the-*** as the wait times are, we may soon lose another vendor in the 944/968 afterworld. ain't a good thing, imo.
