Default Suspension bushes

I will be reindexing the torsion bars. Thinking new spring plate bushes may be in order. Looked at the ones from elephant racing but they are a bit of a job to install.
Does anyone have an opinion on the weltmeister 'poly-graphite' bushes? I have heard that polyurethane bushes can swell and stuff, they claim theirs don't.

Poly is better than rubber any way you put it. Yes the elephant ones are a bit of a pain to install but the directions are very good, I have done at least 4 already. You could also use delrin which is a hard plastic. They hold up well and are easy to install and the best part is they are super cheap.

Well, would prefer something easy to do, since I am paying someone to do it. I also understand that poly bushes tend to squeak, is there any lasting way of preventing this? How durable are the delrin bushes? Any drawbacks with delrin?

Delrin can squeak if you dont make grease grooves in the bushing prior to installing them, that way the grease has somewhere to stay. You could try the same trick with the poly bushings and that would make them not squeak. I have heard of the delrin ones devloping play in them over a long period of time, but that is on a race car, so they should be fine for the street.

Do it once + do it right... Fit the Elephant racing ones. The delrin ones / polybushes WILL squeek....
