That is quite the body kit. Only the roof-line and the doors are recognizable as 944/968.

Why do you say that? I don't see anything in the picture that distinguishes this as a 944 or a 968, but then again, I was never good at those 'circle what's different in these two pictures' things.

looks like the grafted a 928 GTS rear on that thing....and had to extend the rear fenders out to make it fit.

other than the door treatment, I kind of like it....not sure about the front until I see it.

rear window line behind the B pillar. 924's & 44's have more rake to them.

Thats a european "conversion" of a 944 to a "911". Not quite my cup of tea...

I saw a website that was advertising this the other day, I'll see if I can find the link.

ELLSSUU posted about it in the 944 forum. I think it's titled "944 to 911" or something like it.

It actually looks pretty well done, the front has 996 headlamps. Not my cup of tea, but a pretty good try.

It's pretty slick how he got the 944 deck lid to mate with the 928 butt. I wouldn't kick that car out of bed for eating crackers. I wonder what engine is in it?

Still front engine. And Fox is right it is a 944 but it could be done to a 968, and then maybe you can just retain the 968 rear end??

Read about it here

In my opinion, it's clean and well done, interesting, will definitely turn heads, and it actually looks pretty good too. I think the front and rear bumpers both stick out too far. But really... all that trouble just to make a front-engine 996? Hey, at least it has a usable trunk!

Nicely done but not for me... The car is too big IMHO.. why not just buy a 928 or a 911.

Cheers, Mike
