Turbo RS #2 (Yellow car) wwas sold on ebay at one point a few years ago. Dirt cheap too. somewhere in the neighborood of 65K iirc.
The Turbo S Replica you are reffering to is located @ Par Porsche in New Rochelle, NY. They are asking $29,900 for the car, TMU. car was built by PowerHaus. David Raines would be the guy to contact to get the best info on that car. its a '94 Model year Coupe.

I tried to buy the Powerhaus car last year and he wouldn't sell it to me. He told me it was sold and then wouldn't return any more of my calls when it appeared he still had it. Go figure. The car has compression and cooling issues. Search is your friend on this one.
I test drove that car for some potential owners a few yrs back. We also had a ppi done and some things did not look good.

Raj, can you elaborate? Are the "compression and cooling issues" referred by MichelleJD all that are wrong with the car? Couldn't these be solved simply by lowering the boost and making it a road car as opposed to a dyno queen?

The yellow one recently sold too, interesting. And that is the car I am talking about. Like Michelle, I inquired about it but not to actually buying it.

I knew Powerhaus built it. And that is odd, they wouldn't sell it to you? You don't need it anyway, you are relocating!

Dyno-queen or not, compression issues could be serious. It doesnt matter if you run it at low boost or not, that could be a time bomb. Ouch, but, it is a drop gorgeous car.
I think the guy at Parcars thought it was "too much" car for a woman. He told me it was sold and hung up on me!
That's just rude! When I called him Michelle, he seemed like I was bothereing him. Not to go OT in my own thread, but, there is a guy now selling now another beautiful blue 968, of course a non-turbo.

Mike's? That car is VERY tempting!

If I bought the Powerhaus car the first thing I'd do is rebuild the engine (I'm assuming there are ring issues) and deal with the cooling issues. I guess Paul (I think that's his name IIRC) doesn't believe women can do that!
