Thanks guys. Stickers, known to increase HP, are being applied and numbers will be in tomorrow. Going to go with a clean red and white look this year.
First track event will be at Barber this weekend (instructing for our local PCA DE). Looking forward to trying the new 968 brakes (with Hawk DTC60's) and rotors, and the larger wheels and tires.
Front end was changed to early offset hubs and spindles (still running early steel a arm), rear remains early offset with '86 turbo rotors.

Tim, +2 looks great. I'll keep an eye out for you.
I think you are going to love the brakes, your competitors may not. With some luck they will follow you deep into the braking zone and then spin off as they to to match your stopping power. Always fun to watch the guy on your tail sudddenly not be on your tail any more...LOL
Cheers and good luck trackside- Mike

Thanks guys. One of the things I'm concerned about is potential rub with the 275 tires on the rear. I thought the GT flares would stick out further I can get one finger between the edge and the tire, hoping it will work, otherwise I will be removing a bit of the bottom lip. Front fits fine.

I pulled the cups from my DD 968 and have turned them into track wheels. I now have 10-spokes on my DD, plus a set for the race car. I really like the look of the 10-spoke wheels on both the track car and my coupe, plus the are a few pounds lighter than the cups.

That looks great Tim - Nice work
Can you post pics of how you did the arches i.e. where the cuts were made etc.
P.S. Can you not get that front header panel to fit a little better as it looks like you've had a light front ender if you know what I mean.
Either which way great car mate

Header panel and front fenders are not really meant for one another (turbo, non-turbo, different manufactures). Both bought used to save some $$$$. Remember, this is a track car, doesn't need to be beautiful, just fast

924s, lighter, better aero, cheap a-arms to replace yearly. Need to go to late offset spindles to get bigger brakes. Need to do body work to get bigger wheels and tires.
944s, easy to upgrade brakes, go bigger with wheels and tires without doing body work.
