Anyone have a spare airbox bottom?

Its the box, cover, and snorkle. The box has 4 rather large holes to improve air flow through the induction system. If you are interested, I will need to crawl up into the attic to make sure I still have it.

Airbox
Looking for just the bottom housing. I was interested in trying the "holy mod." Pre-drilled or stock would be fine.
Let me know what you want for em'
Has most everyone decided that this is the preferred mod, or are people having good gains with open air systems?

I've got a complete box with top, bottom, snorkel, mounting hardware, and I think I have a fairly decent paper filter in there too. Please try those who responded first, then I'll give a price.

I don't like cutting holes in the airbox... If you want more airflow just go all the way and get a cone. It will also give you the added sound, and then some. You gain maybe 1 hp? 2? The only reason to do it is for the eargasm, and IMHO the cone sounds better and isn't destructive to a hard-to-find part.
But sure if you can get a cut airbox for cheap why not use it?

I'm interested, notthd; I just don't want to get in front of others ahead of me. This thread's a bit hard to decode in that sense.
PM me if available and appropriate. Thanks!

One reason is surface area. I just measured a K&N cone filter and my stock 968 air filter. The bottom of the filter surface of the cone was 14" around and it's 6" long. If I forget that it gets narrower from the base to the top, that gives me 84 sq.in. The 968 filter is 17.5 x 7, which yields 122.5. The 968 filter has 50% more surface area.
