Mark, I'm interested in the rear hatch with vents for my 968. Can you post some info about it?
I've had a turbo RS( clone) for about 5 years now and really love the grace and power. My biggest problem is that in NASA I'm classed as GTS-4, and I'm not sure where I'll be classed for PCA; but I'll find out this coming 2009 seson.
I didn't know you did this, and I believe that you have come up with a really effective way to reduce the interior pressure and the heat build up (I already have a Cool shirt set-up, though). It does get pretty hot inside the cabin!
Can you post some prices, too?
Thanks!

GT-1S/R.
This is assuming a 3.0L, 4 cylinder/4 valve, turbocharged engine and vehicle weight of approx 2850 lbs (w/driver). The equation changes for say a 2.5L, 4 cylinder/2 valve turbo (thus, depending on weight, a 944 turbo could run in GT-3S/R). Of course, 951's and 951S's can also run in the PCA "stock" classes, E & F, which I don't think you can do with your car.

Yes. There's a different factor for 2 valves per cylinder (200 per liter versus 230 per liter for 16 valve engines). Assuming 3.0L displacement & 8 valves, the car moves down to GT-2S. A 2.5L, 8 valve engine would put the car down to GT-3S.
Unlike NASA, actual hp/tq #'s don't matter for the PCA GT classes. Instead, there's a performance index chart. At 2850 lbs/600 x 100 = 475. That's your performance number for PCA GT class (again, assuming a turbocharged 3.0L, 8 valve, water-cooled engine).

Thanks guys we have started the development and expect to have the TRS Version 2 completed by mid January so I'll keep you posted.
We are designing it so that it will only be a three peice unit i.e. it will perfectly fit the sides and under bridge of the OEM 968 spoiler which will keep the costs down
We will do a six peice unit for the 944's after the 968 unit is finished.
Best regards,
Mark

Regarding the rear vented lexan hatch we will first be testing this on track come Jan 09 so that we can eliminate any problems. We will also at a later date be producing a blanking panel for those that use there cars for both track and road so that the cars can be used in all weather.
Ultimately we want to make these affordable otherwise it is not worth our time with development so I promise that the produce will not break the bank.
We are getting alot of interest over in Europe so not to be biased we will let a third party do the ultimate test and this we promise will be reported in 911 & Porsche World magazine once completed![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'll keep everybody posted

Hi Greg
Yes mate, we have already started the development and I will be travelling over to Switzerland in early January to check perfect fitment of the prototype before bringing the wing back to the UK for mould production and serial manufacture.
As previously stated the wing will be designed to fit the OEM side and under bridge trim fitted to the stock 968 - In other words we will only be re-fabricating the center adjustable section and side supports which will help keep the costs down. 924 & 944 owners will have to use the OEM 968 side trims as I feel it would be a waste of time re-manufacturing these out of FRP as all other kits I have seen are quite poor in this respect.
We are still undecided on the adjuster brackets, whether to CNC fabricate the plates in 4mm anodized aluminum or 4mm dry carbon for the best corrosion resistance which is an issue over here in Europe![Frown](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I'll keep the thread updated

Nice little blurb in the most recent 911&Porsche World about your products, with some nice pictures of the aero wiper shroud for the 968TS and the Carrera 924 headlamps. Kudos for developing these products.

Thanks for the heads up Damian
We work closely with the magazine and are working on a joint venture which I'll disclose at a later date when launched in January 09.
All I can say is that it's bloody cold over here in the UK and Switzerland at the moment and it takes a lot of motivation to go out in the garage to work on product development and can be sometimes more of a chore than a passion but the end result I trust are worth it.
Transaxle model Porsche's have a huge following throughout Europe and every time I attend a track day here it amazes me just how many transaxles turn up and there’s always a new interesting project car to look at![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
We aim to travel over to the US probably mid of 09 to see what's going on state side in the Porsche market as I'm sure there’s a lot more out there over and above what I see on RL, certainly from my perspective![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The guy’s at 911 & Porsche World are all huge Transaxle fans, in fact more so than 911 and we want to help them organize several 951/2 and 968 features focusing on performance enhancements during 2009 and will probably bring them over to the states so as soon as I have more info I’ll update.
