DIY intake manifold
Well, another weekend job under my belt. I changed my cracked AOS along with new seals (picked one up on E-bay for $10). Of course had to remove the intake manifold and injector rail and the changed the fuel pump check valve as well. Thanks to all the diy info everything was a success! The car runs fantastic!!! Believe it or not the hardest part of the whole job was putting the bolt in the dipstick slot holding it to the intake manifold. I think my maintanence projects are finally coming to an end.

Ya know, it seems that somehow, somewhere I always find time to work on the 968 on weekends. But next weekend I'll treat myself to a little autox event to see how she performs. Well it sure beats mowing the yard, painting the house bla, bla, bla etc. Did the same with my 72 911 for years. Ya think it's a fetish with these Porsche's

Kevin, to me, there is nothing more relaxing than working on my 968's. I know exactly what you mean. I find it hard to do on weekends but I try to do it late at nights when the rest of the family is asleep.
