Default 968 vs. XJRS Top Gear

Hey,
Just came across this yesterday, I'd bet you've all seen it but I thought I'd throw it up here in case you haven't. ...say goodbye to the mobile phone?...

I'm guessing he's driving an M030 car. It also has the (now infamously) confusing wheels. I say we call them the "jelly donut wheel"....I like jelly donuts.

I hadn't seen this one, thanks for sharing! I wonder if anyone can find the 300z vs. 968 comparo that Jeremy mentions in this review?

Great link. This is from the original Top Gear, cancelled IIRC in 1998. That man just hates Porsche. Having said that his criticisms of the ride of this M030 car with 17" wheels and sports seats is pretty on the mark. And his complaint that the wider wheels follow irregularities in the road are true - since upgrading to 17" Cup IIs my car has been noticably more prone to do this.

And the wheels... 17" C2 Turbo - the original upgrade 968 wheel. http://http://www.wheelenhancement.c...elDetail&id=31

Interesting -- thanks for posting it.

I noticed that the car didn't have airbag steering wheels -- but the Club Sport didn't come out until later in the production. Was the airbag optional in the UK version?
