Default PCA autocross video in my 968

Here's a video of my final PCA autocross run yesterday in the 968. It's fun listening to my street tires squeeeeeal and I didn't hit any cones even though it looks really close in the slalom!

I bet that's fun!

BTW, I've been wanting to get a steering wheel like that. The stock (airbag) steering wheel is too large and doesn't give me enough knee room. Is there any problem with removing an airbag-equipped steering wheel?

Yup, you'll need 2 things. First is the 928 horn contact ring otherwise your horn won't work when you press the button. Second is a solution for the airbag light. You can either clip certain DME wires or do the simple airbag harness resistor trick. Of course you could do neither of these and drive around with no horn and an airbag light, lol.

To rdhayward point, is the CS steering wheel significantly smaller? I too have trouble with knee room when heel-toeing....

Nice going there Trevor. Very clean lines and you hit the apex well on a lot of those turns.
Seems like a lot of fun. Now, if I can somehow get some heart to do this to my cars, LOL.

God Trevor, I can't beleive that you would treat that car like that, it was never driven that hard by the previous owner !!

I've been working way too much, yep I'm so glad I sold it to trevor I knew from the day he bought it that it would be put to good use, he's a really nice guy.

I just thought I would just swing by and see what you guys are all doing/done to your cars, there some really really nice cars being built out there,

Hey Scott, I've been working too much also. Just ask Raj. When does the new car arrive? If either of you come to this area then I would certainly let you drive the 968!

Hey Trevor,
It was great to see you on Saturday.
Post video of your best run on 5-17 and I'll post mine. Then everyone can pick my modifed 951 apart and explain why your stock 968 kicked my butt. You and Andrew are both a lot smoother than I am. That's probably most of it...
I aleady lost your numbers, I think the piece of paper went thru the washer. I'll send you a PM.
