The trim piece on my 92 968 in the engine that houses the gloves etc, isn't present on two 94 968 cabs... did they stop putting that piece in on 94's etc, or is it just missing, and if missing it makes me wonder about it being hit in the front.

Help looking at one, and it would be nice to know the skinny.

I am embedding a pic, what I am talking about is the piece below the airbox, that covers access to the headlights and houses the compartment where the service gloves are stored.

Late cars didn't come with the engine compartment covers, so don't worry about a front end wreck.

Some 94s have them, some don't, it depends whether your car is a 718 car (and originally planned to be a 1993). In July of 1993 they made changes to the production line. The late 94s got the 993 seats and the engine trim was pulled. If you have an earlier 94 you should have option code 718, the 944 seats, and the trim pieces. Check your production dates (on the driver's door jam). Do I have your cabs in the registry?
