Any of you guys had any luck with carpet dye? The carpet in my cab is showing the effects of the UV's. The carpet is in fairly good condition so not looking to replace just even out the color.

I tried the spray die on my cab and it turned out badly. I eventually replaced the carpet with a piece from a parts car.

BTW off topic-your avitar has the factory wind screen correct? how does it mount?

Mike, Yea it is a factory screen. it mounts by removing the plugs behind the seats and replace with plugs provided by Porsche and straps the hook into the rear seat backs/access to the trunk space.

I guess that ther has not bee alot of luck with dye- did search and found very little positive info.

Is the carpet still avaible from the factory or a aftermarket vendor for Cab's?

I called around and found out that the 968 cab carpet set had been disscontinued. Go figure, with only 3000 or so in the US the inventory need was not there. I then contacted World and they DO have a full set for the cab- search over- thank you vey much and for the small price of $685- Easy come easy go $$$$ I'm still in the process of replacing mine.
