Default 968 w/ full leather interior on ebay

Whoever is lucky enough to buy this car will be getting a very rare/desirable option, and the seller doesn't even seem know it!!

Interestingly, this car also has a factory wood shift ****.

So on a 968, "full leather" means it has leather door pulls and leather rear seats? That's it?

Our last 928 had full leather. Every piece of the interior was either carpet, plastic, or leather. Even the dash, headliner, console, door panels, rear side panels, and even a-pillars were leather. IMHO it was supremely stupid. Everything started shrinking from heat, and scratches were visible everywhere. It did however smell nice. My preference is to have as much vinyl everywhere except what you touch, so I like leather door pulls.

So "full leather" is rare? I have all black full leather. It's true that it shrinks and scratches are easily seen. It's a major PITA to keep nice. But it does smell nice.

My 968 does not have full leather, and the rear seats are leather on it. I think it's more the stuff like the door trim that makes it.

i dont believe that is full leather, like the 928, the 968 had an option called leather belt. with the 928 it included the dash/doortrims, and of course the seats so everything in front and to the sides were leather. then there was a full leather option, stunning! this 968 desnt even have a leather dash.

It's definitely full leather. The door panels, center console, lower half of the dash, and rear seats are all leather.

So the leather is a "rare" option? Mine has it. Cool.

I just now noticed the console and lower half of dash. You gotta look really hard to see seams on the edges. It's nice I guess but I'm not crazy for it. Maybe I'm nuts? I think the color has a lot to do with it. Black leather would look a lot better with all that stitching. Or Magenta...

Holy Batman!
That is a full leather interior. Extremely rare on 968's.
Its true though, the color takes away some of the leather look. It would look much better in other colors.

ok so lets get this right, if that is a "full leather" interior(without a leather dash), then what do you guys call a full leather interior with a complete leather interior(with a leather dash)? do you call it a full full leather interior? god those american bump pads ar ugly as hell!

I have never seen a fully covered dash. They only covered the lower section of the dash, which this car has.

Raj is correct. On the airbag equipped cars (I'm talking all 944/968s) only the lower dash was covered in leather in the "full leather" option.

i agree that it is very rare for leather options in the 944/968. but i have seen a full leather interior on a 944S2, including the dash.
