There is someone here who has been looking to buy a 968. His name is Wayne (user name waynelambright). He had a 951 but it got crashed so he's been posting here, and even posting WTB ads on craigslist. You should find him and see if he likes it.

Price drop $7,400!
Price drop to $7,400!
I have had a lot of interest but most everyone want to know where the original hatch is and why those rims? The original hatch is long gone it had 1 broken side trim pieces and the other one flew off somewhere a few years ago! The original 16" rims had lots of curb rash and cord showing so they have been gone a while too!
The pictured car is for sale as it looks in the pics! I have a few more pics and they are all in larger format so if Interested please PM and we can get in touch via E-mail.
Thanks

Just purchased the car last month here in the Bay Area from original owners who ordered the car in '92. I then did some minor service to get the car up to snuff to be a reliable good looking car! Thought about parting it out but its just a hair too nice to go that way with it. So I thought I might give someone else the chance to use it however they want. Registered and smogged, ready to drive, as I have only put a few hundred miles on it!

Someone will buy the car at this price. Its looks to be in great shape even with that many miles, and would be a great opportunity for someone looking to get into a relatively cheap 968. If the car wasn't realiable and somewhat taken care of it wouldn't have lasted this long.

When I found out what the 968 decklid and glass cost from Porsche (over $5k) I had a chance to pick up a perfect 951 complete decklid unit just in case someone drops a brick on my rear window. Don't need it but I figured if I never needed it I could still sell the decklid to a 944 owner for several times over what I paid for it. I also bought a set of brains, relays, etc, etc. for Just in Case. The price on this stuff keeps going up so I figure that my money is safe. I do this with all my Pcars. The down side is that I recently sold my 928 '85S and I have a lot of extras brains, relays, wheels, and other parts laying around that I'll need to sell. I just never plan on selling my cars I guess. Porsche addictions are worse that many others.

There you go so someone buys this from me for $7,200 and then can put a set of 18" turbo twists on it for $500 and $900 for the 968 hatch! Then they can sell the extra stuff and for $less than $8.5 K they have a 220 recessed hood badge early 968 with some very rare color combnations!
