Richard,

You have to tell the story about the pizza delivery guy trying to race me, that was too funny to hear it from both sides. Something about him in third gear, and I am just shifting into second around 60MPH

That was funny.
I was in the store saying hi to all the guys in there and I see Andre's 928 pull up. I start to head outside and one of the drivers show up right after. I wait for Andre to get out of his car and as I'm waiting the driver calls out to me. "Dude I just raced a porshhh." I point behind him, "You mean that guy?" He was like "Oh, sh#@." He failed to tell me he lost badly. He drives a 90's firebird.

I normally get more, one of those I cheated. It also helps when the sunroof is off.

Andre, you have over 200k miles? That's pretty awesome right there. We should get your car together with my blue coupe. They can have old-fart car sex and stuff.

194K+ right now so in 6K miles it will be over 200K.

Sure anytime!

Cheers,
Andre

It was a great time - nice to meet everyone and put names and faces to forum members - talk cars, mod's and compare - then a fun little drive on a great day. What else could you ask for...We definetly need to do this more often...

Thanks for the pics.

I'd say the great turnout was evidence of how much your fellow 968 (& other) 'listers cheer your continued recovery!

It's always fun to see a bunch of 968's gather in one place at the same time.

I guess I should set up another party once my right foot becomes active again. I'll lead in my dad's car if he's still got it, he wants to sell.
If not, I'm sure someone will let me borrow theirs.

Captain. I was unaware you were still participating in educational activity at the Acadamy.
