Default Rolex 24- Car corral pics

The 24 is over and I can say it was a blast. I was glad to meet many of you and even more impressed by the commoradory. ( forget spelling) The corral this year was one of the largest I have seen and the turn out impressive. It was dominated by the 911s but there were many turbos to be found. Even two 968s made a showing. I hope you enjoy these and are not saying - good god, not more pictures...

My favorites were the beck production 907 (I think that #s right) and a orange GT3 RS-- Regrads, Mike

Porsches as far as you can see

the Blue 968- there was a white one also

This beck development car had a 3.0 and a 915- I bet this little car is a blast to drive. It's the second time I have seen this car the 1st was Road Atlanta last year

Can you say HOLY #$%& Batman Look at those brakes- I only wish I could do this 14K upgrade...

And my favorite- lets see, if I sell the kids then maybe...

You know, when ALMS was up at Limerock this past summer, I got to look at the DHL RS Spyder...and I noticed they were using slotted rotors now.

No more drilled rotors!

Maybe it was a one-time thing; but, I don't think so.

Jason, if you plan to be there again this yr, let me know. Maybe we can team up or get a 968 caravan going. I love watching racing in person.
So far, I am signed up for F1 in Montreal (Go Alonso!!)

Raj,

With your free time, you're allowed out of the house?...no way!

Just kidding!

Rich,

You, too, have to get out of the house a bit more!

Always great cars inside the Daytona Corral. Interesting how the weather this year was the opposite from last. We had rain on day 1 followed by sun on day 2. Last year started great and ended with rain.

Always a great event to watch live....

Jason, believe it or not, if I give a good enough notice, I can get away with just about anything. I bought most of my cars without her ever knowing until I showed up with them.
I can't complain. I have it pretty good.

Raj,

In that case, let's definately go to Lime Rock! That is, if they haven't turned it into a a condominium complex.

A small track with lots of great spots to hang out! Those ALMS cars make it look like a miniture go-cart track.
