Our 968s really are unique and scarce. I'm curious how many DIFFERENT 968s you see per month (average number of sightings).

I know they are around here, I have met them a various functions. But i dont see them on the road.

I have several in the area...a red coupe, a black cab, a white coupe, a riviera blue cab, a white cab I see occasionally, a black coupe....but I only see them on the road maybe once every 2 months.

Aside from mine and my friends', I see maybe 1 or 2. Actually in San Francisco it was more like 1, and in Pismo Beach it's more like 2. I saw one today at the local dealership but I don't really count that.

I've been in Seattle 2 months and have not seen a 968 on the road yet. I've seen one 928....half dozen 944s, one 951, lots of 911s and a zillion boxsters. It's fun to drive a car that almost no one recognizes but is universally admired as being beautiful (and performance is good too). Too often my 968 is mistaken for a "Ferrari." BTW, I've seen more Ferraris on the road in 2 months than 968s! (This is Microsoft country).

I selected "1 or 2" per month but it is really like 1 every other month. Maybe I just need to get out more.

I see a few every month because some of my best friends are 968 owners. Its funny how some of the people I met because of my 968 ownership have become such important part of my life.
I love the people and the car .

Funny story, I was talking to my dad about all the things I wanted to do to my new 968 while sitting in a Burger King drive thru. And just as I finished the conversation a dark blue 951 drove infront of us and did a u-turn. I know there are 2 black 968 cabs in town but they must be hiding for the winter. I was the weird one delivering in mine.

Same here and there's a ton of traffic commuting to/from work through the silicon valley each day. I see 996/997 probably every day, same with the Boxster and Cayenne. 993's probably once or twice per month, 964's about as rarely as 968's, though 928's are very rare also - I see those less frequently than the 968! I see a few 944's each month along with earlier 911's/912's but I rarely ever see 914's.

Now somewhat off-topic but has anyone noticed the rate at which 968's are being wrecked? Parts Heaven seems to have a new 968 carcass every couple of months, so conservatively I'd bet that one or two 968's are lost every month in the US.

I don't think I've ever seen another 968 except the one I now have. Was my late mother's.

None around Gainesville, but I know grant is around here somewhere and I need to check his car out built by my buddy jason before I finally skip town in April.

I have the only one in my area besides the wrecked one in the salvage rebuild yard. I may see one or 2 a YEAR around here.... In my PCA region there is one other than mine but we live 2 hours away from each other. Not a highly populated Porsche density area so our club is spread out..... Mike

Aside from special Porsche gatherings or track events that draw perhaps 2 or three together in one day, I see them about 3-4 per year here locally. So, .33 times per month, max. Not including mine. They are the same two or three cars, too. All coupes; white, red. My car is also a white coupe

The only one I see on a "regular" basis is the one that I am assuming is driven by an employee at Euroclassics on Midlothian here in Richmond. There is another nice guards cab that I have seen twice in the past year here in the west end. Hell, I rarely ever see 944's. The funny thing is, there is an 87 S one street over from me and I think between him and I, we own 50% of the total 944 population here in the west end of Richmond.

Depending on if I go to the track or not that month I see only 1 or 2 others. If I am at the track then I can see up to 4 total.
