I think I know the car you are speaking of. The guy seems to only buy the best of rare breeds, and when he sells commands top dollar for them (and usually gets it).

I would say a typical M030 with that kind of miles should be in the $20k range. I would not pay more than $21-22K. If it was a rare color, I would add another $2-3K but red should not command a premium.

I'm guessing the common colors would be Red, White, Black?

Anywhere from $17K and up. The most I have seen so far was $22k. It all depends on the color, any special mods etc.

On a (at best) 14 year old car - M030 is worth hardly anything.

IMHO deduct 10 to 15% for red.

Clem, M030 is worth more because it is a M030 - value doesn't accrue necessarily to the performance of the package relative to today's technology, but to the relative performance versus the stock 968, and also rarity of the package on these cars, that makes more desireable.

I had one of the most unique M030 Coupes in Speed Yellow. It would be hard to top that.
A coupe doesn't do me any good since my turbo is a coupe. That was my reason to sell the SY coupe.
No more coupes for me besides my turbo.

If its the same SoCal guy, he was after me for my turbo as well. I knew all along he would just flip it for a profit all all other cars he goes through. I turned him down ofcourse.
He then tried to build a copy but after some talking to vendors, gave up onthe idea. I am not exactly a fan of flippers.

Wow. A speed yellow M030 coupe. Did it have the 220 option?
