Boosted 968 with Tip? Hmmm....
Total newby here, and speculating about what retrofitting turbo/supe options exist for 968's with Tips... Turbo sites like PowerHaus detail what they will do to your manual 6Sp when you go with boosty retrofits but don't say much (or anything) about Tip cars. I understand and agree that manual cars are generally way friendlier to high output (boosted) motoring - driver defines input power and shift points, too...
Input torque and especially torque applied before-after upshift on a Tip car would be a cause for concern, roasted clutch packs, etc. So, does anyone have info or experience on the maximum input horsepower that a 968 Tip can take, or has this been a verboten topic? Converter stall-speed options?
Thx/Tim

Well, we do know Porsche makes high hp tips, so there has to be a way for the parts to handle it. You would need to do some trial and error to figure out what flex disk would fit from a turbo model or a tt model.
I am sure it can be done.
