Default 968CS wheel in an airbag car - what ohm resistor?

If I use a multimeter to test the resistance along the airbag plugs, could I use the same ohm of resistor to fool the computer?

I don't want to have to mess around with any other wiring under the dash or such.

Or is there more to it?

thanks,
Rich
