the problem is they blind everyone by throwing glare everywhere... as such, not only can everyone else not see, but neither can you because very little of the light is actually going on the road.

In addition to that, using something like an 8300k hid bulb actually puts out a good bit less light than normal halogen headlights and in a color spectrum that isn't all that useful.

Default How about the other way around?

I am interested to know if there are popups available for 996?
If the original lights are open for discussion, how about installing popups instead? 968 or 928 would be a good candidate.

This car is somewhat famous/infamous around here and I saw it on ebay a few months ago.

great car. That is how you do it right: by cutting the fenders--and, actually raising them up to bring about the 993's natural fender hump, and 993/968 fender hybridization.
This is done by liberal cutting, adding a some sheet metal, and reshaping.
i brought my fenders to their general shape with this method,
Fine shaping was accomplished by adding quality epoxy composite,
and finishing resins for fine shaping.

result:
8+ years of bliss.
(despite adding some materials to the fenders (unavoidable)
(if done right), you're looking at a 15~20 lb weight savings.

Do you not like yourself?
997 headlamp kit for the win.

Anything over 5000k should be illegal.
World does not need MORE blue light.
It is supposed to increase sleeplessness.
Yellow street lights have been proven to lower crime too!
