So far the recovery has gone well. And I will be visiting my doctor tomorrow for an evaluation. I saw the accident site today and from what it looks like I tried to dodge a deer and then went off road. I then slamed into a utility pole and then a tree causing the car to roll. The fire was started from a live wire from the pole.

Thank God you're alive. If you ever start thinking about what you lost, just remember what you still have.
Good luck getting better. Finding a new car will be easy.

Farmers insurance finally got permission from the CHP to view the car and they took pics. They then emailed me them and they are
I will post them tomorrow after I resize them.

When I look at those pictures, my first thought would typically be "man, that would suck" thinking that the driver was killed.
You are very lucky. Congrats on getting out alive.

Wow! It is amazing that you are still talking with us today. I am very sorry for your loss, I know how I would feel about losing my 968 but it is replaceable. I wish you well and hope for a speedy recovery!

It's no fun turning your coupe into a roadster when your in the car.
Health update:
My right foot has almost regained all feeling and my hand/eye cordination is almost perfect. I expect to have the catheters removed either this week or next so I can start having showers and baths. Typing is still difficult because the right hand dosen't have feeling yet but otherwise I'm doing great. Thanks everyone for sending me your best, it has really helped me get through this.

Holy cr*p! Ever find out what happened in the accident? The car definitely saved your life. Glad to hear that you're on the road to recovery.
