Default Raj - adjustable spoiler looks & fits great!

Raj,

Finally received the end pieces yesterday and got the spoiler on the car today. It looks super. Note rear bumper cover that was burned at Pocono is now painted orange.

Will test effect of downforce at BeaveRun '44Cup races this weekend.

Thanks.

P.S.: Note wing set at highest rake for short (1.1 mile?) BeaveRun circuit.

Richard,

Nice color combo on that 'Amy' car.

Good luck at Beaver Run,

Is that spoiler from A.I. R. or some other manufacturer? It looks great! Congrats!

Miles, its an orginal Porsche Motorsports spoiler. Its the real deal. Its a pain to get them but well worth it.

Damian,

Can you tell me in what year(s) was the Porsche crest on the front of the 968 hood recessed?

I just acquired a 968 hood - (to eventually replace my hood with the hole cut in it from Jason's turbo conversion 968) - that has the traditional enamel Porsche crest inset. The sheet metal is actually depressed in the shape of the crest and the crest is located therein. I can't remember seeing this before, not on my '93 or on my present hood which was off a '94 or '95 968.

By my own process of elimination, that would sort of limit my recently acquired hood to coming off a '92 968, no?

Thanks.

Yuup, a early 92 would have a reccessed hood badge.

Raj beat me to it, very early cars had the sunken shield.

Richard, your car is among the very few "best out there." Beautiful car. Thanks for posting the fotos.
